NoBiz Performing Arts was founded by best friends Lisa Burge and Giselle Grimm, who shared a lifelong passion for performing and teaching. Both brought a wealth of professional experience to NoBiz, having worked across theatre, television, live entertainment and music. Giselle trained at Barbara Speake Stage School from the age of eight, performing in television, West End productions, pantomimes and The Royal Variety Performance, before continuing her career as a professional entertainer. Lisa began singing from an early age and went on to perform professionally alongside some of the biggest names from the 60s and 70s, as well as working as a session singer. Together, Giselle and Lisa created NoBiz with one simple vision: to give every young person, whatever their ability, a place to build confidence, develop their talents, make friendships and experience the joy of performing. Their passion, friendship and love of the performing arts became the heart of NoBiz and continue to shape everything the school stands for today.
